For over 30 years, Rosine Katan has been teaching music from a Human Development perspective. As a Human Development music educator, Rosine Katan believes in the value of learning for learning’s sake, and that the need to express oneself through music is basic to being a human being. She offers her teaching services in three areas of Education:

PIANO LESSONS
for children and adults.

Since 1988, Rosine Katan has been offering private piano lessons for children and adults. As a Human Development music educator, Rosine has 4 goals when teaching piano:

1. Provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience for each student.
2. Teach “music literacy” = how to read, write, and play in the music language using the music tools of rhythm, melody, harmony, ear training, and sight reading in both solo and ensemble piano playing.
3. Teach all styles of music from the classics, pop, rock, and jazz.
4. Teach music as a vehicle for nurturing emotional and physical intelligence.
