Performance Experience

From her roots as a classically trained pianist, Rosine Katan is known for being an original and sophisticated Pop-Jazz pianist, songwriter, and song stylist. Trained as a piano major at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Ms. Katan plays and sings a wide range of material.

Regardless of whether she’s performing her original Pop-Jazz material, a Beatles classic, a Gershwin standard, a Stevie Wonder gem, or a beloved Chopin Waltz, Rosine Katan puts her stamp of original interpretation on the material she offers her audience.

“I’ve never heard that song done like that before!” is a common response to Rosine’s musical interpretations. She writes her own music arrangements and sings them while accompanying herself at the piano, creating an elegant cabaret nightclub atmosphere wherever she performs.
